We see as a call for all of us to take new paths, gear our actions towards conserving our environment and resources and contribute to shaping market changes. We can no longer afford to wait and see. We have to change things now.
We are more than happy to be miserly with our resources, because we have no other choice, if future generations want to inherit a world worth living in. As a family enterprise, that’s the way we’ve been operating for more than 6 decades.
„When I started at REGUPOL BSW 30 years ago, sustainability had a completely different meaning. Recycling was a word many people didn’t know or it was associated with rubbish and waste. It had no relevance for their purchasing decisions. I’m glad the way we see the circular economy today has changed significantly. It’s now regarded as the economic model for the future. REGUPOL BSW has also played a part in this and I’m proud of that.“
„We’re all confronted with changed living conditions. More and more people are using more and more resources and energy. If we want to leave a world worth living in for future generations, we’ve got to act now and make changes. REGUPOL has been manufacturing products from recycled materials for more than 60 years and four generations now. It’s environmentally conscious, socially responsible and, at the same time, economically successful. And following our motto “Let`s change“, that’s the way we intend to carry on now and in the future.“
REGUPOL BSW is a leader in the circular economy and has been successful on the market for years. Every year we process more than 90,000 tonnes of recycled elastomers. Therefore, sustainability is not a means to an end for us, but an integral part of our DNA.
We act in a resource-saving, environmentally conscious and climate-friendly way. Any concerns regarding recycled products made from ELT (end-of-life tyres) have been allayed by the final report of the Federal Environment Agency, which certifies that "with regard to migration and emission of substances hazardous to health, there appears to be no significant risk to humans or the environment".
