Lebanon, PA – The inventor of multi-purpose recycled rubber surfaces, Regupol America, LLC, was chosen for a local renovation project at Franklin & Marshall College, based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The project, referred as “Mayser Locker Room Renovation,” was made possible through financial support from its alumni, parents and friends.

The locker room flooring was replaced with Regupol America’s sports, fitness and commercial flooring application, Regupol Aktiv, installed by local Abacus Sports Installations. The flooring surface withstands the most intense use from high foot traffic and athletic movements. Made of 35% post-consumer recycled tire rubber and 65% post-industrial EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber, the surface covers a total of 1,400 square feet and includes a 6ft x16ft Devil Blue F&M logo in Mayser’s Locker Room.

“We are excited to have such a reputable national college that is locally-based, replace their old flooring with an environmentally responsible product from Regupol America,” said John Aten, Vice President of Sales, Regupol America. “I have no doubt that the students and staff will enjoy the newly renovated facility.”

The additional renovations to the Mayser Locker Room included a relocation of lockers, larger lockers for the football, men’s and women’s lacrosse and field hockey teams as well as improved lighting and updated bathroom and shower facilities.

Regupol Aktiv will also be included in the college Weight Room covering 2,800 square feet in Devil Blue, part of the 35000 Series. The installation is to be completed end of December 2009.
