Our EPDs and Cradle to Cradle® certifications confirm what we believe: we are on the right path toward a more sustainable future. Independent verification gives our efforts credibility — and our customers the confidence that choosing REGUPOL means choosing responsibility.
REGUPOL has certified a significant portion of its products in the areas of acoustics, construction protection, cargo securing and sports with the Cradle to Cradle Certified® standard. This international standard evaluates products based on their sustainability, circularity and responsibility across five categories: material health, reuse of materials, renewable energy use, water stewardship and social fairness. REGUPOL has achieved a Bronze rating in all these criteria – a further testament to our commitment to innovative and environmentally friendly solutions.
REGUPOL has received an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its uncoated roll goods. This certification demonstrates the environmental compatibility and transparency of our products throughout their entire lifecycle.

Our Initiatives for a Circular Future
REGUPOL is an active member of two forward-thinking networks: AZuR, the innovation forum for sustainable tyre recycling, and the New Life initiative, promoting high-quality products made from End-of-Life tyres (ELT). As an AZuR founding partner, we support efforts to transform used tyres into valuable raw materials. Through New Life, we demonstrate how recycled materials can create lasting products for construction, sports, and urban spaces. These partnerships strengthen our mission: turning waste into long-term value — for people and the planet.
New Life
REGUPOL is a member of the "Initiative New Life" and works with the other companies involved to ensure an optimal circular economy. Together, the members want to demonstrate the advantages of recycling products from end-of-life tires (ELT) and motivate to act sustainably. Our products have been certified by New Life and rated as a recycled product or a top recycled product. All product-related certificates can be found in the download area on the product pages.

Azur
In August 2020, the innovation forum for waste tyre recycling, AZuR, was launched and is funded by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research. This rapidly growing network currently comprises some 40 partners – including companies, associations, colleges, universities and environmental organisations. We at REGUPOL have also been part of the innovation forum right from the outset. AZuR aims to find ways and solutions for economically and ecologically feasible tyre recycling.
