Every trainee is part of our team

Every trainee is an important member of our team. That’s also the feeling we want to convey to them, because only trainees who feel at ease can learn and develop. We have been training people in a wide variety of professions since the company was founded in 1954. Many of the staff we employ today are former trainees. Our proportion of trainees as a percentage of the overall workforce has exceeded the regional average for many years. And, as a rule, our trainees’ exam results are above the Chamber of Industry and Commerce average.

South Westphalia seal of quality for vocational training

The Chamber of Industry and Commence has awarded us the “South Westphalia Seal of Quality for Vocational Training.”  Audits were carried out to examine training processes and quality standards and we were attested an exemplary vocational training performance. We are the first company in Wittgenstein to receive the seal of quality. Another good reason to send your application to us!

„During my probation period, I realised that a freight forwarding and logistics services career wasn’t right for me. I raised this with the trainers and expressed my wish to switch to being an industrial clerk within REGUPOL. My trainers took care of it, checked the training plan and made the change possible. They also took care of all the organisational matters for me, such as deregistering from the old vocational school, registering with the new one and re-registering with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. They made it easier for me to start my new apprenticeship by providing me with materials to catch up on what I had missed. Overall, my experience has been very good, and I am glad to have had this opportunity at REGUPOL.“

„I’m training as a warehouse logistics specialist at REGUPOL, but my enthusiasm for photography, which I discovered with friends, has also led me to the profession of media designer. Photography was the beginning, but I wanted to know more about what was involved. So, I asked my training officer at a quarterly meeting whether I could have some work experience in marketing. After a few consultations, they made it possible for me. I was allowed to get a taste of the job for two weeks, which was really cool! My colleagues were really nice and explained and showed me everything. Unfortunately, the two weeks went by far too quickly. Still, it was a really great experience, and I’m super grateful that I had the opportunity.“

„I decided to train as a technical industrial clerk because I wanted to get an all-round view from the planning to the sale of a product. This really helps me in my job because I now understand how everything works. Initially, it was a bit strange because I was the first woman in this apprenticeship. But looking back, I don’t regret it. My apprenticeship was sometimes really challenging, especially because I realised I’m not good at manual work. But the people on site were really patient, and I learned a lot about work and life. The technical knowledge I now have helps me in my job and at home. I can recommend the training to anyone. The hole punch I made during my apprenticeship is still on my desk and reminds me of the good times.“

„My journey to becoming an industrial clerk began with constant uncertainty. In every quarterly interview, I stressed that I didn’t think the job was right for me. However, my trainer, Lisa, did everything she could to find the right department for me. Even after internal placements in shipping and production, the search for my professional destiny remained challenging. Finally, Lisa found the solution at the last minute and placed me in the marketing department. That’s where I discovered my passion and the perfect job for me. After my apprenticeship, I was taken on in the marketing department. I owe this turnaround to Lisa’s tireless commitment. Today, as a marketing officer, I work on exciting projects and am very grateful to her. This would not have been possible without Lisa.“
